Metal Stamping?

Metal stamping transforms flat sheet metal into precisely shaped components using dedicated tooling and controlled press operations.

Depending on the part geometry and production requirements, the process may include blanking, punching, bending, drawing, embossing and other forming operations. It is particularly suitable for producing repeatable metal parts efficiently across medium- and high-volume production runs.

03 What metal stamping processes do you support?

04 Does a metal stamping project require dedicated tooling?

Most stamping projects require dedicated dies designed around the part geometry and forming sequence. Depending on project requirements, tooling may combine several operations or use a progressive layout for efficient production.

05 Is metal stamping suitable for low-volume production?

Suitability depends on part geometry, tooling complexity and total production requirements. For lower volumes, simplified tooling or another sheet metal process may be more economical. Our engineers can compare the available options.

06 What secondary operations are available after stamping?

Secondary operations may include deburring, tapping, machining, welding, riveting, hardware installation and assembly. Surface treatments such as powder coating, plating, passivation, brushing and polishing are also available according to project requirements.

07 How do you inspect stamped metal parts?

Inspection can include first article verification, in-process dimensional checks, visual inspection and final inspection. CMM, optical measurement and blue-light scanning may be used according to the geometry and critical features.
