QUALITY ASSURANCE

Quality Controlled
From Start to Finish.

Structured inspection, calibrated equipment and documented quality controls help ensure every part meets your drawings and production requirements.

  • Incoming Material Inspection
  • In-Process Quality Control
  • Final Inspection & Documentation

OUR QUALITY FOUNDATION

Quality Is Not a Final Check.
It Is Part of the Process.

Every project begins with clear quality requirements and continues through controlled manufacturing, inspection and documented approval. This structured approach helps us maintain consistency from the first part to the final shipment.

Clear Requirements

Drawings, tolerances, materials, cosmetic standards and reporting needs are reviewed before manufacturing begins.

Controlled Production

Key dimensions and process conditions are monitored during manufacturing to identify variation before it affects production.

Verified Results

Finished parts are inspected against approved specifications, with reports and traceability provided when required.

QUALITY CONTROL PROCESS

Quality Controlled at
Every Critical Stage

From requirement review to final release, defined inspection points help identify variation early and maintain consistent part quality.

01

Requirement Review

Drawings, tolerances, materials, finishes and inspection requirements are confirmed before manufacturing.

02

Incoming Material Inspection

Materials and purchased components are checked against specifications before being released to production.

03

First Article Inspection

Initial parts are inspected before the remaining production quantity proceeds.

04

In-Process Quality Control

Key dimensions, appearance and process conditions are monitored at defined production intervals.

05

Final Inspection

Completed parts are verified against dimensional, visual and functional acceptance criteria.

06

Documentation & Release

Inspection records are reviewed before parts are approved, packaged and released for shipment.

INSPECTION CAPABILITIES

Inspection Equipment for
Reliable Measurement

DOCUMENTATION & TRACEABILITY

Quality Results You Can
Review and Trace

Inspection data and supporting documentation provide clear evidence that parts have been reviewed against approved project requirements. The reporting scope can be defined according to your application, industry and production needs.

01

Dimensional Inspection Reports

Measurement results for specified dimensions and critical part characteristics.

02

First Article Inspection

Initial production parts can be documented before the remaining batch proceeds.

03

Material Documentation

Material certificates and related supplier documentation can be provided when specified.

04

Production Traceability

Project, material and inspection records support controlled production and issue tracking.

Documentation availability and format should be confirmed during project review.

QUALITY ASSURANCE FAQS

Questions About
Quality Control?

Learn more about our inspection process, measurement capabilities, documentation and project-specific quality requirements.

Still have a question? Contact Our Quality Team
How does HordRT control product quality?

Quality control begins with drawing and requirement review and continues through incoming material inspection, first article inspection, in-process monitoring, final inspection and documented release.

What inspection equipment does HordRT use?

Depending on the part and inspection requirements, our quality team may use CMM inspection, handheld blue-light 3D scanning, optical inspection and precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and height gauges.

Can you provide dimensional inspection reports?

Yes. Dimensional inspection reports can be provided according to the agreed inspection scope. Please specify the required dimensions, report format and documentation needs during project review.

Do you perform first article inspection?

Yes. Initial production parts can be inspected and approved before the remaining production quantity proceeds. The exact first article inspection scope should be confirmed before manufacturing.

Can material certificates be supplied?

Material certificates and relevant supplier documentation can be provided when specified and available. Please include these requirements when submitting your request for quotation.

What dimensional tolerances can you inspect?

Inspection capability depends on the part size, geometry, material, manufacturing process and selected measuring method. Our team reviews critical tolerances before confirming the appropriate inspection plan.

How are non-conforming parts handled?

Non-conforming parts are identified and controlled to prevent unintended release. The issue is reviewed to determine the appropriate disposition and corrective action according to the project requirements.

Which management system certifications does HordRT hold?

HordRT is certified to ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 13485:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. These systems support documented processes, controlled manufacturing and continual improvement.
