FEATURED AUTOMOTIVE PROJECT
An injection-molded exterior charge-port door developed for a globally recognized electric vehicle brand, combining a premium carbon-fiber-look surface with functional mounting and reflector features.
The component required a premium exterior appearance while maintaining accurate alignment with the surrounding vehicle panel.
Tooling and molding were developed around the exterior contour, reverse-side structure and integration of the decorative surface.
Visible surfaces, mounting features and assembly interfaces were checked throughout sample validation and production.
Coordinated tooling, molding, surface control and assembly validation supported a charge-port door with consistent appearance, secure mounting and reliable integration into the vehicle body.
